Technical Writing Professional

The Technical Writing Professional course provides learners with the knowledge and skills needed to draft and finalize technical documents in a variety of professional settings. Topics included in the course are the core concepts of technical writing, understanding the target audience, researching strategies, organization for writing, and formatting final drafts as well as the unique characteristics of several types of technical writing formats.

Certifications

This course assists learners in preparing for the following certifications. Note: Learners must pass a certification exam and, in some cases, document a specified amount of work experience, in order to be eligible for certification.

(The NWCA exam can be offered both in groups of students in the classroom or individually online.)

  • Explain how to create and properly use visual aids.
